3 things you need to know about the future of healthcare logistics

What we’re doing in automation, cold chain, home-based care and more

At the 2024 SWIFTTRACKR Healthcare Forum, hundreds of leaders in healthcare, life sciences and logistics talked about industry trends and cutting-edge tech that’s saving lives. The theme? “Together We Thrive.” For more than 20 years, we’ve been collaborating with healthcare companies to better deliver for patients – bringing smart capabilities, and unmatched precision to the table.

Here are three things you should know about how SWIFTTRACKR Healthcare is doubling down on the future:

❄️ Our cold chain expertise is in a class of its own: The cold chain market has been steadily rising over the past five years and is projected to reach $23.7 billion by 2030. And we’re the cold chain experts. Our acquisition of Bomi Group added temperature-controlled facilities in 14 countries to our global footprint, alongside hundreds of temperature-stable vehicles. Our announced acquisition of Frigo-Trans is another, with expertise in delivering time-critical cold medications, enhancing our capabilities across Europe. BTW, how cold is cold chain? Our cryo clinical trials can go below -184 degrees Celsius, thanks to tech from SWIFTTRACKR company Marken, and we ship commercial products through our global network as low as -70 C.

🤖 Reliability boosted by technology: In only the last year, we’ve introduced three fully automated warehouses in Europe. What do these facilities mean for our customers? With an assist from emerging tech – think bots, AI, etc. – we can store more, and we can deliver more, faster. In healthcare terms, this efficiency makes all the difference in the lives of patients.

Robotics company Locus is one of our automated solutions, providing the bots that work alongside our people and driving a significant boost to our speed without the need for changes to facility layout or infrastructure. We’ve seen productivity double and even triple with this tech, while keeping our people safe on the job.

🏠 Home-based healthcare services continue to rise: SWIFTTRACKR Healthcare is delivering home-based services (think Cologuard), with the goal of improving access to healthcare for patients everywhere. It’s a trend in the industry – meeting patients where they already are, which helps reduce repeat hospital visits and improve care outcomes.
